Court Rules

Welcome to the Chalke Valley Padel Club. To keep everyone safe and to enjoy your visit, we ask that you kindly follow these simple guidelines.

Book Now

Booking

Please book your court in advance via the Playtomic app . You cannot play without a booking.
Membership can be applied for via Playtomic.
Members can book 21 days in advance (hold 6 active bookings).
Non-members can book 7 days in advance (hold 2 active bookings).
Lead booker must be 18 or over and present for the duration of the booking.
The court is for a maximum of 4 players unless part of a coaching session.
Hours of Play: 7 days a week – 8am – 9.30pm.
Padel racquets to hire (£2), children free to borrow, Balls to purchase (£5) a tube. Cash please on an honesty basis (card payments to follow shortly).
At the end of your session, please SHUT the gates to the court to stop the rabbits etc getting in and destroying the astro. They love it!

On-Court Care & Safety

Footwear: Please wear appropriate, non-marking padel, sports trainers or tennis shoes to protect the turf.
Equipment: For your and other players’ safety, please always use the wrist strap on your racquet.
Clothing: Wear comfortable sports clothing.
Drink and Food: Absolutely NO glass, bottles or cups are allowed on or near the court. Please do not bring food onto the court.
Please use the bins or remove all rubbish after your session.
Dogs: Sorry we cannot allow dogs on site.

Conduct & Play

Kindly finish your game on time so the next group can start promptly. There is a clock on the barn wall.
Children under 18 must be supervised by an adult at all times unless in a designated coaching session.
Good sportsmanship and respect of our court and facilities is appreciated.

Flood Lights

These are free to use. The switch to turn on is marked. If no one appears to follow on after you please switch off. They are on automatic timers for the end of evening play.

Coaching

Coaching sessions will be available. Book via Playtomic app. Court hire, racquets and balls included.

Current Facilities

There is a signposted WC and changing room in the farmyard. Parking is in the yard as marked. Bicycles can be parked near the court. Shelter – this is courtside.

There is a Defibrillator on site.

Smoking

Smoking and vaping are not permitted anywhere on the premises.

Social Media

Please do not put any premises or Club related data or content (eg. Photos) on social media without our consent.

Damage and Responsibility

Please report any damage to our property. Players are fully responsible for any damage on the premises, to themselves or injury to third parties.

Personal Belongings and Liability

Chalke Valley Padel Club is not responsible for any lost, stolen or damaged property. Please look after your belongings.
All players use the facilities at their own risk.

Cancellations

Cancellations must be processed via the app Playtomic. To receive a refund, cancellations must be made by Members at least 24+hrs before court time, Non-Members at least 48+hrs before court time.

Wet Weather

If heavy rain or standing water makes a session unplayable, we may offer you a refund or re-schedule your session. Please note we are unable to offer these if more than 50% of the session has already been played (as reasonably determined by us) or we do not hear from you within 24 hours. If rain stops play, please email info@chalkevalleypadelclub.co.uk within 24 hours of your session ending, and include your booking details so we can verify your session.

Coffee and Chat

We look forward to offering players and their accompanied children a Club House beside the court with WC, showers, sofas and coffee in the foreseeable future. Children in coaching sessions will also have access to the WC facilities.

Meanwhile feel free to sit and enjoy the view if you would like.
